Bad Jenda!

I’ve been a horrible blogger lately. There’s so much to do in-world that it seems the last thing I want to do is come here and write about it all over again. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve outgrown blogging, or if it’s just a case of laziness or just general indifference. I seem to be indifferent about a lot of things right now. Hmm.. I’d elaborate more, but I’m too lazy to type it all out.

Luigi DiPrima Live @ Starbrook’s!

I’m so excited for our first musical act at Starbrook’s Coffeehouse! An old friend of mine, Luigi DiPrima, has graciously agreed to play for us on Monday 6/16 from 8-9pm SLT. If you haven’t heard Luigi before, you’ll want to make sure you catch this show. He’s well known over the metaverse for his witty banter with his guitar, aptly named Chet, and his beautiful acoustic guitar covers.

Tornadoes be damned!

If anyone needs another argument on the beauty and magic of SL, they need to look no further than tonight. Two very good friends, in their own little respective corners of the world, stayed up with me after a tornado touched down in my city, just to make sure I was okay. We played “On a Roll,” and we laughed and they stayed with me as the second wave of storms moved in and back out. Finally, the adrenaline wore off, I got tired, whipped Am’s arse twice at the game and we stumbled off to bed.

And that my friends, is the beauty of SL. It’s all about the friendships. I am truly blessed.

[UPDATE] The National Weather Service confirmed today that it was an EF-2 Tornado that hit. People are still without power and the damage ranges from minimal to major. Thankfully no one lost their life.
